Yellow anemone (Anemone ranunculoides) is a low perennial in the buttercup family (Ranunculaceae). The species is threatened with extinction in the Netherlands. The plant is native to Central Europe and western Asia. In the Netherlands, the only plant in South Limburg in the wild.
